Hello, my fellow talented artists. I go by many names from my friends, the most common ones being: "Hyperion" and "RIDER", hence the name "HyperionRIDER". The name comes from my Xbox Live Gamertag and originates from Fire Emblem. Hyperion being the name of Heath's wyvern (a subspecies of dragons), the name actually translates into "dragonRIDER". Pretty cool, huh?

Anyway, uh, about me... I think I answered everything in that little questionnaire but I might have left some stuff out. I can probably start by saying that I play drums, not only on Rock Band, but at church for the little kids class and am working on getting a position for the teen class. Wish me luck with that.

I am a writer, though not an official author. I've noticed that many of you have done art of the famed black dragon, Shruikan, from the Inheritance Cycle. The story I'm currently writing is a prequel to Eragon from Shruikan's perspective. It tells of his experiences during his false Rider's rise to power and all that he's seen and done. It's a very moving story. For all of you that are really big fans of Cynder from the Legend of Spyro games (like me), I highly encourage reading this story. Think of it as the story of Cynder if she was a guy. There's love, betrayal, suspense, action, everything a good story needs. It's well worth the time.
